We are a tight-knit production team with an unwavering commitment to quality. Thousands of people will walk through our exhibits in museums, presidential libraries, and halls of fame each year. We take pride in bringing our own families to our exhibits, so our design, fabrication, and installation must be to the highest standards. We don’t run a plug-and-play assembly line. We are looking for high-achieving, problem-solving, creative painters, craftspeople & fabrication professionals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and manufacture from shop drawings with minimal supervision and apply a working knowledge of the methods, equipment, materials, and tools to fabricate and install highly complex, craftsman quality exhibits for the museum and exhibition industry.
- Work with an array of standard and specialized materials including, but not limited to wood, plastic, acrylics, metals, laminate, solid surface, etc.
- Assure quality workmanship consistent with project requirements and 1220 standards.
- Thorough working knowledge of OSHA regulations, practices, and precautions applicable to the trade.
- Travel to museum and exhibit locations around the US for extended periods, if applicable.
