We are looking for high-achieving, problem-solving, creative painters, craftspeople & fabrication professionals.
The Opportunity:
- As a Welder/Fabricator at 1220, you’ll perform a wide range of metal fabrication duties. We’re looking for a self- starter with excellent attendance and the ability to work overtime and weekends when the workload calls for it.
- Must be able to perform trade specific welding duties such as cutting and welding with various processes, metal forming and bending and finishing. The candidate must be proficient in fitting and setting fabrications materials as laid out by guidelines.
- Must pass a welding, grinding and tape measure test.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience in MIG welding of steel and aluminum with standard gun and spool gun.
- TIG welding of steel and aluminum.
- Ability to use grinder/sander to quality finish.
- Metal forming, forming, bending, and finishing.
- Ability to understand shop drawings, make cut lists and build.
- Must understand metal fabrication and be able to build drawing specs and tolerances, (correct dimensions and in square).
- Milling machine/metal lathe experience a plus, but not required.
- Other duties as assigned.
