At 1220 Exhibits, we were honored to help bring the vision of the Christian & Gospel Music Museum to life alongside the Gospel Music Association and GMA Foundation. Our team worked to translate a powerful mission celebrating the history, impact, and future of Gospel music into a dynamic, physical environment. Located in the heart of Nashville, just steps from the icon Ryman Auditorium, this space is designed to welcome visitors into an immersive storytelling experience rooted in inspiration and legacy.
Our role as fabrication partner touched nearly every corner of the museum. From acrylic dimensional lettering and large-scale wall murals to custom artifact mounting and casework, each element was carefully crafted to honor the artists and stories represented throughout the space. We developed ceiling clouds, laminate wall finishes, and direct-printed MDF panels and lighting solutions that elevate the overall atmosphere.
A key highlight of the museum is its emphasis on interactivity and engagement. Our team brought to the life a series of AV interactives, including a recording booth experience that invites guests to step into the story of Gospel music themselves. These hands-on moments, paired with thoughtfully installed artifacts and immersive media, help bridge past and present.
