1220 Exhibits recently completed an exciting project at The Classic Center’s Athens Ford Arena in Georgia, bringing interactive and engaging music-themed experiences to life. The project features a variety of hands-on interactives, including a giant floor piano, a music trivia challenge, a “Set the Stage” experience where visitors can build an interactive stage, and a comprehensive music database. These elements encourage visitors to actively engage with the rich musical history and culture of Georgia celebrated at the venue, offering an immersive and educational experience for guests of all ages. The interactives are designed to be both entertaining and informative, making music history more accessible through playful, hands-on participation.
In addition to these dynamic elements, 1220 designed, fabricated, and installed 23 SEG graphics that enhance the space’s visual storytelling. The team also constructed and installed 8 custom artifact cases, incorporating a total of 166 specialized artifact mounts—11 of which are mannequins—ensuring a seamless and secure display of significant musical memorabilia. These artifact displays provide an up-close look at historic and culturally important pieces, preserving them while allowing visitors to appreciate their details. Through expert craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, 1220 Exhibits has successfully transformed the Athens Ford Arena into an engaging, interactive environment that celebrates music and its lasting impact.
