Due to a prior working relationship, 1220 was commissioned to enhance the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame with updated exhibits, scenic figures, and artifacts, delivering an intimate and immersive experience for visitors. The Hall of Fame now features 65 custom display cases, including recessed, freestanding, cylinder, and wall-mounted designs, showcasing artifacts such as the Lombardi trophies, Brett Favre’s player contract, stockholder certificates, and championship rings.
1220’s Artifact Specialist expertly fabricated custom mounts to securely present each artifact, while the Scenic department’s craftsmanship is prominently displayed in the “Discipline and Love” gallery, where Vince Lombardi’s office has been meticulously recreated. The gallery also commemorates the 1967 Ice Bowl with lifelike figures clad in winter gear and a detailed recreation of Dave Robinson huddled on a bench under a warm sideline cape, enhanced by audio recollections of the iconic game. The Interactives department further contributed by developing an effect that simulates breath vapor from the figures’ mouths, emphasizing the extreme cold conditions.
Another significant feature is the “Excellence” gallery, which honors the team’s Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees. This gallery includes wall “locker” display cases and monitors that highlight each player’s career achievements. 1220 was responsible for the installation of each exhibit component, ensuring a seamless fit and superior finish throughout the Hall of Fame.
